Morgan & Tommy’s Revel Space Chicago Wedding

Morgan and Tommy’s wedding at Revel Space Chicago was the definition of a sleek and elevated event. Truly one of my favorites of all time! With its open layout, high-end finishes, and sleek architectural design, this venue never fails to amaze me. From chic portraits at Adler Planetarium to a live wedding painter capturing all the fun moments of their reception, every detail was curated perfectly!

Their wedding blended sophistication with a fresh and stylish approach, from the luxurious getting-ready suites to a Rolls Royce arrival and a stunning ceremony inside Revel Space Chicago. (Yes, a Rolls Royce, and it was epic.) Whether you’re planning a Chicago wedding with a high-end vibe or just looking for inspo, this day showcased how Revel Space is one of the city’s top wedding venues.

Getting Ready at Revel Space

Morgan and Tommy started their day in Revel Space’s large, beautifully designed getting-ready suites. Both suites had plenty of natural light and stylish interiors, ideal for a relaxed morning and beautiful prep photos. With every detail carefully considered, from the contemporary furnishings to the open layout, Revel Space Chicago has a great space for a wedding morning getting ready with family and friends.

First Look & Private Vows at Revel Space

Morgan and Tommy’s sweet first look in Revel Space’s gorgeous courtyard was one of my favorite parts of the day. Their courtyard is a gorgeous open yet intimate outdoor space, perfect for a first look! There’s clean architecture and neutral tones, keeping the focus on them while stripping away all distractions. We love to see it.

For their private vows, we chose the front of the venue. The space gave Morgan and Tommy a quiet moment together before the rest of the day unfolded, which allowed them to pause and take it all in, just them two. I absolutely love the charm of and versatility of Revel Space, because even the simplest spots are perfect for beautiful images.

Portraits at Adler Planetarium

After their first look, Morgan and Tommy took a classic Rolls Royce ride, which was so much fun to photograph them in. The first stop for portraits was Adler Planetarium, one of the best spots in Chicago for wedding photos. I never tire of shooting here! With the skyline in the background and Lake Michigan stretching out behind them, it was the perfect mix of cityscape and open space.

Adler Planetarium is always a great choice for wedding portraits because it gives you that signature Chicago look without the congestion of downtown. (Don’t get me wrong, downtown is also so much fun for portraits. Just depends on your vibe!) The stone pathways and lakefront along with the planetarium dome lent itself to the fashion editorial look we were going for. 10/10.

After wrapping up at Adler, we returned to Revel Space Chicago for a first look with their dog, Honey. Oh my gosh. It was the cutest way to include her in their wedding day, and honestly I think the photos speak for themselves. I love when my couple’s include their sweet pups on the wedding day!

Ceremony at Revel Space Chicago

Morgan and Tommy’s ceremony took place at Revel Space Chicago, where the open-air courtyard set the stage. The clean lines and classic color palette create a sophisticated high-end atmosphere. And the elegant white florals and greenery gave it such a clean, stylish look. Being able to pull off contemporary while not losing its charm is one of the many reasons it’s one of my absolute favorite Chicago wedding venues!

Reception + Party at Revel Space Chicago!

Morgan and Tommy’s Revel Space reception was the perfect mix of black-tie luxe and an unforgettable party! The grand layout set the tone for a sophisticated vibe, with florals draped from the ceiling lighting to create a dramatic look. It was…incredible. Every element was curated so beautifully to create an elevated experience. Shannon Gail Events outdid themselves, as usual! I highly recommend their amazing team, they really nail the vision every single time.

For a sweet personal touch, the couple served a custom cocktail inspired by their dog, Honey, a fun nod to their gorgeous pup. (I’m not crying, you’re crying!) A photo guestbook with instant cameras kept the evening interactive, letting guests capture fun moments throughout the night. Between an incredible dance floor, a live wedding painter, and a setting that felt straight out of a luxury estate, the night was an absolute dream. The Revel Space venue could not have been a better choice for their vision, and I could not have been more honored to be their photographer!

A Luxury Wedding at Revel Space Chicago

At Revel Space Chicago, Morgan and Tommy’s wedding felt both classic and contemporary in all the best ways. From getting ready in the venue’s stunning suites to their black-tie reception with florals draped from the ceiling, every detail was intentional and beautiful. Their wedding day looked straight out of a magazine while still feeling personal and fun. Truly the best of both worlds!
