A chance match on Hinge while traveling abroad led to an untraditional first date a month later: a week-long snowboarding escape in Colorado. Suddenly, I’d fallen in love with and married a sommelier whose career moved us to Cannes. I soon found out this new life in the South of France would offer more than I could imagine, shifting my perspective and inspiring my work in countless ways.
Some days are grounded in recognizable routines that echo my Midwest roots. Others are straight out of a dream - weekends at European châteaus or jetting to Milan for dinner.
The balance of the familiar and the extraordinary mirrors my own love story and the ones I capture: authentic, layered, and profoundly unique.
